How we handle your information

Carolina Drive Rentals uses the information you submit to review rental applications, arrange rentals, communicate with you, and manage payments and vehicle incidents.

Applications collect contact details, date of birth, driver’s license details, insurance information, uploaded documents, rental dates, and your agreement acknowledgment. Agreement records include your signature, timestamp, IP address, and browser information.

Customer accounts use secure sign-in links or passwords. Private rental records are accessible through your signed-in account and protected internal systems. Uploaded application documents and rental records are encrypted in our database. Please do not send identity documents through the general contact form.

We use Vercel to host the website, Neon for database storage, and Gmail to send account and rental messages. When online card payments are enabled, Stripe handles card entry and processing; this website does not store your full card number.

We keep information needed to administer rentals, maintain business records, and resolve issues. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your information, or to ask about records that need to be retained.
